Senior leader of the Muslim League and Senator Irfan Siddiqui has claimed that former Prime Minister and head of the PML-N, Nawaz Sharif, can perform a "technical landing" in Islamabad on October 21 during his return to the country from Lahore.
He stated that Nawaz Sharif is expected to arrive in Islamabad on October 21, two days before his return from the United Arab Emirates, and a program is in place for his landing at Allama Iqbal Airport. "A small connecting flight could also be added on October 21, but this surveillance should continue," he said.
According to their charter plan, there is no need for Nawaz Sharif's plane to stay in Islamabad for refueling as they are arriving from Dubai, and they will land in Islamabad for "some legal matters." They would stay in Islamabad only if they had received protective bail from the Islamabad High Court before reaching the city.
This matter is currently being kept confidential, and as of now, there is no information regarding their landing in Islamabad, even through PIA sources. It is also being speculated that they might be staying in Islamabad for a very important meeting.
