In a first 23 Cyber Security Centres to be established in Pakistan under new Cyber Security Policy

The National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication was informed, today (Tuesday), that National Cyber Security Policy is being formulated to protect Cyber Space and Data.

The committee sought detailed briefing on the proposed draft of the National Cyber Security Policy from the IT ministry in its next meeting.

Director National Cyber Security Centre Dr Kashif Kifayat emphasizing the need for effective Cyber Security Policy to protect the people from cyber-attacks, informed the committee that 11 forensic laboratories are being set up in 10 universities under Cyber Security Center and 12 more such laboratories will be set up for which an amount of over two billion has been allocated.
