A high-level meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar in Lahore today reviewed security arrangements for by-elections to be held.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that effective measures have been taken to ensure election in a peaceful environment.
Usman Buzdar said Election Commission's code of conduct will be ensured at all costs and there will be full ban on display of arms to hold the by-elections in a peaceful manner.
The meeting was briefed that 4759 polling stations have been set up for 11 provincial constituencies and eight constituencies of the National Assembly.
