Pakistan-China-Afghanistan dialogue vows to enhance connectivity for peace

The 4th Pakistan-China-Afghanistan Trilateral Dialogue has vowed to enhance connectivity among three neighbors for peace, stability and economic development in the region.         

Chairman of Pakistan Senate's Foreign Affairs Committee Mushahid Hussain, inaugurating the dialogue said Pakistan and Afghanistan should increase cooperation on multiple fronts for peace and development.

He said future is intertwined through cooperation, corridors and connectivity and Pakistan's position has become vital with the successful implementation of CPEC.

On the occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing emphasizing peace as the basic foundation of the development said a political solution is more relevant and appropriate for peace in Afghanistan.

Outgoing Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Omar Zakhilwal said regional economic cooperation based on connectivity is the only way forward.
