LAHORE: Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf and united opposition staged sit-in protest outside Punjab Assembly Chairing Cross over the issue of Panama leaks here at today.
As per details, the protestors chanted slogans against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and demanded his resignation over his and his family name in Panama leaks for owing off shore companies. The protestors also raised play cards and banners against PM Nawaz.
Addressing at the occasion, Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmood ur Rashid lashed out at ruling party saying that PM Nawaz should resign from his post for stability and larger interest of Pakistan.
Mian Mahmood ur Rashid said that PM Nawaz has lost moral value to rule the country after his and his family name in Panama Papers. He also demanded resignation of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif over his poor governance.
United opposition consisting of PML-Q, JI and PTI would hold sit-in protest every Thursday outside Punjab Assembly till the fulfillment of their demands.
