Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has stressed the need to bring reforms in religious seminaries and in the formal education system to balance the Islamic and modern education in the curriculum.
He said this while addressing the 16th foundation anniversary of Muslim Students Organization in Islamabad.
Minister for Religious Affairs said efforts are being made to introduce modern education in Madaris of the country.
Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said recitation of the Holy Quran would be made compulsory till class five and its reading with meaning from 6th class to twelve.
