LAHORE:Inspector General Police Punjab Capt (R) Arif Nawaz Khan has said that alternate foolproof security plan of Chief Minister House, Governor's house and Central Police Office reorganized from the beginning and while finalizing new security plan, courts orders and public benefits should be kept in mind.
He stated this to senior police officers while presidinga high level meeting in Central Police Office here on Monday.He further said that security barriers issues outside the police office should be resolved on permanent basis and unnecessary blockage of roads with encroachment must be stopped.
Security issues after removal of encroachment outside the district and provincial government important offices were
discussed in the meeting.
CCPO Lahore Capt (R) Muhammad Ameen Wains while briefing to IGP has said that the security barriers from outside of the all Police Offices have been removed and nowhere in Lahore roads are blocked by Police. He further said that Lahore police is completely aware of its duties and confronted challenges and police officers with their field force will
perform their duties without any hesitation.
IG Punjab while advising police officers has said valid strategies in the light of court directions should be kept continue and for the safety of people lives, wealth and honor crackdown against anti social and criminal elements of society
should be made more fast.
Addl: IG operations Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, Addl: IG Special Branch Faisal Shahkar, Addl: IG CTD Rai Tahir, DIG Operations Lahore, Dr. Haider Ashraf, SP security Amara Athar and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.APP/AFP
