DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the latest Test rankings. According to details, India tops the Test rankings for teams while South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and England are at second, third, fourth and fifth place respectively.
Sri Lanka is at sixth place while Pakistan holds the seventh spot in the rankings.
West Indies were placed at eighth place while Bangladesh and Zimbabwe were at ninth and tenth place respectively.
Steve Smith of Australia tops the batting rankings while India’s Virat Kohli and England’s Joe Root took the second and third spot. Kane Williamson of New Zealand and Australia’s David Warner were at fourth and fifth spot respectively.
India’s Cheteshwar Pujara and Hashim Amla of South Africa were at sixth and seventh place while Pakistan’s Azhar Ali were placed at eighth place. England’s Alastair Cook and New Zealand’s Ross Taylor was placed at tenth place.
Not a single Pakistani bowler could make it to the top 10 in bowlers’ rankings.
England’s James Anderson topped the bowling rankings while South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada and India’s Ravindra Jadeja were place at second and third place.
Josh Hazlewood of Australia was at fourth place followed by India’s Ravichandran Ashwin and Vernon Philander at fifth and sixth place respectively.
New Zealand’s Neil Wagner was at seventh place and Sri Lanka’s Rangana Herath was at eighth place in the rankings. South Africa’s Morne Morkel and Australia’s Mitchell Starc were at ninth and tenth place respectively.
