Supreme Court has ordered to continue the anti-encroachment drive in Karachi city.
The order was issued by Supreme Court Larger Bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar while hearing the case regarding encroachments in the city at Karachi Registry today.
The Larger Bench also ordered to give notice of 45 days instead of 15 days to all the houses and markets that have been constructed on welfare plots.
Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhter assured the Apex Court that the orders will be complied in letter and spirit.
