Planning Minister seeks Chinese cooperation to improve agriculture

Minister for Planning Makhdum Khusro Bakhtiar says cooperation between Pakistan and China in agriculture sector will be expanded under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Talking to Minister for National Food Security and Research Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan in Islamabad, he said Chinese cooperation will be sought to improve various sectors of agriculture in the country.

Khusro Bakhtiar said cooperation between the two countries will be enhanced in co-branding of products, post harvest promotion of commodities and establishing free zones. 

Both Ministers discussed various proposals regarding agriculture cooperation with China in the upcoming Joint Cooperation Committee meeting to be held in Beijing on 20th of this month.
