ISLAMABAD – Saudi Arabia to make largest ever financial investment in thehistory of Pakistan, it has been revealed by Finance Minister.
Finance Minister Asad Umar on Thursday said that an incoming investmentpackage from Saudi Arabia, which promises to be “the biggest foreigninvestment in Pakistan history”, will be announced soon.
“The ball is in our court. We have to get cabinet approval next week, afterwhich an announcement will be made,” he said, addressing an event inIslamabad.
He added that he keeps getting messages from Saudi Crown Prince MohammadBin Salman “through other people to hurry up”.
