DOHA – Pakistan Navy Chief held important meeting with Qatari PrimeMinister in Doha
Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi met with Qatari Prime Minister(PM) in Doha on Wednesday. According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Navy,the naval chief also held separate meetings with the Armed Forces Chief ofStaff and Commander Qatar Naval Forces.
Issues of mutual interest and the promotion of bilateral maritimecooperation were discussed during the meetings. The naval chief alsohighlighted Pakistan’s position on Kashmir issue during the meetings.
It is pertinent to mention here that normal life continues to remainparalyzed in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) as unprecedented and inhumanlockdownlink101st consecutive day.
Earlier, Admiral Zafar highlighted Pakistan’s role in the efforts beingmade for global maritime security.

He said while representing Pakistan at three-day Sea Power Conference 2019in Australia. He also held separate meetings with the naval chiefs ofvarious countries, including Australia, Brunei and the Philippines, onsidelines of the conference.
They discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral maritimecooperation.
