ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Information Technology andTelecommunication Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Wednesday said thatartificial intelligence was the future of the world and Pakistan had toadopt modern trends of artificial intelligence to compete globally.
The minister as chief guest in the concluding session of a day-long FirstPakistan’s Artificial Intelligence Summit 2019 here at a hotel said thatartificial intelligence was considered as the most reliable technology intoday’s world.
The panelists of various sessions said that Pakistan was included in thetop ten countries which adopted artificial intelligence but today Pakistanlagged behind in this field.
Artificial intelligence was the future of the world and Pakistan had toadopt modern trends of artificial intelligence to compete globally, theysaid.
Currently, the world was carrying out experiments in artificialintelligence and a robotic-dog may be good addition which follows one’sinstructions, they added.
The panelists said that artificial intelligence works according to thehuman will and it could be easily used everywhere and use of Eco system inprivate business education system was very useful.
In the end, the minister distributed shields among the panelists of theday-long Summit.
