ABU DHABI – Indialink wants oillink shipping via Russialink Northern Sea Routeto start as soon as possible, as it aspires to see “more navigation” fromlink the partner nation,Petroleum and Natural Gaslink Minister Dharmendralink Pradhan toldSputnik in an interview.
Russia and India link saidin a joint statement, released after their bilateral summit in earlySeptember link, thatthey would study the possibility of shipping oillink via the Northern SeaRoute.
“I would be more than happy.More, more navigation fromlink Russialink to Indialink. Our old dependableally. We’ll be more than happy. It should be as early as possible,” Pradhansaid, when asked about prospects for the oillink shipping via theNorthern Sea Route to start within one or two years.
The Northern Sea Route, Russialink main Arcticshipping path, is expected to become a shorter alternative to the passagethrough the Suez link Canal,which is currently the most common route nowadays for delivering cargo fromlink Asianlink ports to Europelink.
