In joint forces operation, one of the largest drug recovery worth billions made in Pakistan

*KARACHI – In one of the largest drug recovery operation, 241 kg of heroineworth Rs 3 billion in intentional Market** have been recovered by PakistanNavy, Maritime Security Agency and Anti-Narcotic Force at Jiwani, nearPashkon in Balochistan on Tuesday.*

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy, the value of narcoticsin the International market is approximately Rs 2410 Million. The seizednarcotics are handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force for further legalproceedings.

Continuous Anti-Narcotics Operations and seizures by PMSA are the result ofmeticulous planning and constant surveillance of maritime Zones of Pakistan.

PMSA maintains its permanent presence at sea with a large contingent ofShips and Aircraft to counter any unlawful activity happening along thecoastal belt and adjacent areas of responsibility, said a press release.

Pakistan Navy and PMSA will continue to protect national and internationalinterests of the country and obligations of maintaining peace and order atsea.
