MOSCOW – Taliban representatives told Russia that they had held scores ofclandestine meetings with the US, Russian presidential envoy to Afghanistansaid.
Taliban is ready for holding talks with Afghan government after reaching anagreement on US withdrawal from this country, Zamir Kabulov told reporterson Monday.
West has been defeated in Afghanistan war, he said, adding that Westernforces were not able to establish peace during 17 years.
