ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Police Superintendent of Police has been reportedlykilled in Afghanistan.
As per the media report, Superintendent Police (SP) Tahir Khan Dawar, whohad gone missing from Islamabad a few days ago, has reportedly beenmurdered in Afghanistan, The News has reported.
Pictures of murdered police officer’s body have been circulating on socialnetworking platforms, however, there has been no official confirmation ofSP Dawar’s killing.
State Minister for Interior Shehryar Afridi declined to comment on thereports of Dawar’s killing, saying that it was a sensitive matter.
“It is a matter of national security and someone’s life and cannot bediscussed on an open forum,” Afridi said.
