*RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesdaypresided over the 215th Corps Commanders’ Conference at the military’sGeneral Headquarters in Rawalpindi.*
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations(ISPR), the conference reviewed geo-strategic environment and securitysituation in the country.
“Progress of ongoing operations, fencing along Pak-Afghan border, situationalong Eastern Border including Indian ceasefire violations and deliberatelytargeting of innocent citizens were discussed,” the statement reads.
The top army brass reiterated to continue its efforts for bringing enduringpeace in the country while supporting all initiatives towards regionalpeace.
“Forum also expressed its resolved for continued support to all stateinstitutions for ensuring writ of the state and rule of law in which liesthe peace, stability and prosperity of the country,” the statement said.
