Pakistani skipper Babar Azam breaks silence ahead of Pak-India clash

Pakistan cricket team’s captain, Babar Azam, has said before the highlyanticipated World Cup match against arch-rivals India that the entirestadium will be supporting India, and they will strive to deliver a strongperformance in the match.

Speaking to the press in Ahmedabad, Babar Azam stated that Pakistan-Indiamatches are always challenging, and the toss in the upcoming match againstIndia will be crucial. Captain Azam emphasized that they are focused on thepresent, not dwelling on the past.

He expressed the intent to put on a good performance in tomorrow’s match,hoping that Pakistani fans will also come to the stadium. According toBabar Azam, they will be aware of Naseem Shah’s absence, who made an impactwith his fast bowling in the Asia Cup, but he has confidence in ShahinAfridi, and a couple of matches’ performance doesn’t mean there’s aquestion mark.
