One surprise change likely in Pakistan World Cup squad against India

Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir believes that during the ongoingICC World Cup 2023, there should be a change in the Men in Green’scombination. Speaking on a private TV program, the left-arm pacer said thatleg-spinner Usama Mir should be a part of the playing eleven. However, hedid not specify the player he thinks should make way for him.

Amir responded to a question about what changes he would bring if he werepart of the team management, stating, “I won’t talk about who should bedropped from the team, but I will try to include Usama Mir in the teamcombination. You need wickets in the middle overs, and he is the kind ofbowler in form who is taking wickets.”

He also added, “They can contribute a bit with the bat as well.” It shouldbe noted that on October 14, Pakistan is set to face India during the megaevent in Ahmedabad.

Prior to that, Pakistan maintained their excellent form and secured ahistoric victory against Sri Lanka in the 8th match of the ICC World Cup2023, surpassing Ireland’s record for the most runs in a single ODI WorldCup match.
