ANKARA – Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief MujahidAnwar Khan was awarded with “Turkish Legion of Merit” on Thursday.
The air chief awarded impressive ceremony was held at the Headquarters ofTurkish Air Force at Ankara in recognition of his services for promotion ofdefense ties between the two countries.
Later, the Air Chief called on with Turkish Air Force Commander GeneralHasan. Both the dignitaries discussed professional matters and cooperationbetween the air forces of both countries.
During the meeting the Air Chief thanked Turkish government for the augustaward and said that two countries enjoyed enviable brotherly ties spreadover years.

General Hasan lauded the level of defence and security cooperation betweenboth the countries. Both the dignitaries agreed to further enhance andexpand mutual collaboration and defence ties between the two countries ingeneral and air forces in particular.
