ISLAMABAD – Pakistani top actress blasts India media and film Industry overfrustration against Pakistan and promoting war hysteria.
Mehwish Hayat extended the message of peace and harmony in an auspiciousceremony in Norway where she was awarded with the Pride of PerformanceAward by the Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
Addressing the event, the Pakistani starlet urged Hollywood andBollywood to use cinema for promoting mutual understanding byrepresenting the true image of Pakistan instead of vilifying the nation asthey do.
She bravely highlighted how Bollywood and Hollywood tarnished the image ofPakistan globally, through their vilified portrayal and stereotyping ofthe countrymen. She also became the voice of the innocent Kashmirs at theforum and highlighted the atrocities they have been facing for decades.
