LAHORE – Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan has said thatelections for the slots of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the PunjabAssembly will take place on Thursday.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore today, he said that the newly elected membersof the House who are interested for contesting the election of the officesof Speaker and Deputy Speaker are supposed to file their nomination paperfrom 3 to 5 pm on Wednesday.
The first session of newly elected Punjab Assembly will be held onWednesday during which newly elected MPA’s will take oath.
