ISLAMABAD – Prime minister Nasirul Mulk has approved the Federal Cabinet’sdecision of appointing four new provincial secretaries andinspectors-general of police.
Mulk gave the approval at a meeting held at the prime minister’s officeon Wednesday.
The provincial governments, following consultation with the ElectionCommission of Pakistan, approved posting of Akbar Hussain Durrani as chiefsecretary Punjab, Azam Suleman Khan in Sindh, Naveed Kamran Baloch inKhyber Pakhtunkhwa and Akhtar Nazeer in Balochistan.
The new top cops include Dr Kaleem Imam in Punjab, while Amjad JavedSaleemi will replace Allah Dino Khawaja as IG Sindh, Mohammad Tahir willreplace Salahuddin Mehsud as IG K-P and Mohsin Hasan Butt will take therole of IG Balochistan.
