Reportedly Wajid Zia, head of Panama JIT has asserted that investigation record of Chaudhry Sugar Mills was tampered with and that social media handles of Bilal Rasool, Executive Director of SECP were hacked by Intelligence Bureau (IB).
FIA executive further told the court that JIT’s covert communication with institutions is fed to the media while members of the probe committee receive threats.
According to the petition of the JIT head, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) served notice to Irfan Naeem Mangi to pressure him in the probe while personnel of IB circled residence of Bilal Rasool on May 24 and threatened his helper.
Record of the inquiry into Chaudhry Sugar Mills was tampered with on orders of the SECP Chairman.
