Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan hints at important decision overcoronavirus lock down across the country. Prime Minister Imran Khan said onTuesday that country cannot bear the cost of lockdown, which has beenimposed to stem spread of the novel coronavirus, anymore.
While chairing a cabinet meeting, the premier hinted at bringing more easein restrictions, adding that it was necessary to open the lockdown.
He vowed to control the further spread of the infection, adding thatfollowing the precautionary measures should be top priority.
Khan said that people will be persuaded to adopt the preventive measuresand follow the SOPs.
Transport and trains services will be resumed soon after havingconsultation with provinces, the prime minister said.

During the meeting, the participants expressed concerns over notimplementation of SOPs since the lockdown has been eased in the country.
To which, the prime minister directed the information ministry to run anawareness campaign in this regard. Special Assistant to PM on InformationLt Gen (retd) Asim Salim Bajwa expressed resolve to launch massive drive.
