ISLAMABAD – The Ministry of Commerce Monday rebutted a news items appearingin different sections of the press on the day regarding Free TradeAgreement (FTA) between Pakistan and Turkey, terming it ‘contrary to thefacts.’According to a statement, the recent meeting held on May 10, 2019 haddiscussed Strategic Economic Framework. During the sitting, no technicaltalks were held on FTA;
however, the two sides had renewed their intent to continue furtherdiscussions on the subject for its early conclusion.
