ISLAMABAD: Turkey makes big economic offer to the government of Pakistan.
Turkey has shown keen interest in signing a sustainable and long-lastingFree Trade Agreement (FTA) with Pakistan to achieve win-win results forboth countries.
Addressing the business community in Islamabad the other day, TurkishAmbassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul hoped that Pakistan wouldfinalise its list of items for the agreement with Turkey this month.
He said leadership of both countries have the objective to boost thebilateral trade to five billion dollars under the FTA.
The ambassador said the existing Pak-Turkey bilateral trade of around 800million dollars is far below the potential. He said Turkish companies haveinvested around 1.5 billion dollars in Pakistan while more companies arewilling to invest here.
