ISLAMABAD – Two Pakistani fighters were detected on Tuesday night goingsupersonic 10 kms from the Line of Control (LoC) within the territory ofAzad Kashmir in Poonch sector.
Following the flights India has put its air defence systems on high alert,government sources said on Wednesday.
Loud bangs were heard in the area due to the sonic booms, they said.
In the wake of the development, all Indian air defenses and radar systemsare on high alert, the sources said.
On February 27, Pakistani fighters had entered into the Indian air space inJammu and Kashmir targeted non military sites.
In the dogfight, Pakistan Air Force shot down Indian Air Force MiG-21 Bisonplane.
