ISLAMABAD – Cautioning India to draw the right lessons from recent crisiswith Pakistan, the notable American news service, Bloomberg, said, aselections are approaching, “the great temptation” for Indian Prime MinisterNarendra Modi is to “inflame the country’s mood of militant nationalism.”
In its editoriallink,Bloomberg warned that this exploitation of the situation “might payshort-term electoral dividends, but it would not serve Modi’s long-terminterests, much less his country’s.”
The editorial reminded that during the current tensions, “strategically,things haven’t changed to India’s advantage.” Moreover, it forewarnedIndia against the danger of events spiraling out of control.
