ISLAMABAD – Chairman Task Force on Housing Zaigham Rizvi has reiteratedgovernment’s commitment for construction of five million houses for poorsegments of society in the country.
Addressing a function in Peshawar today (Wednesday), he said two millionhouses will be constructed in rural areas of the country.
He said United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arab, Malaysia and Qatar have expressedkeen interest for investment in the Prime Minister Housing Scheme.
He said World Bank has also agreed to provide technical support for thescheme.
Zaigham Rizvi said various sites for construction of these houses have beenidentified across the country.

He said task forces for the Housing Scheme are also being constituted atprovincial level.
