Zainab murder case: Important links found

KASUR – Investigators have collected significant data through geo-fencingin the Zainab murder case. The people suspected to be involved in the rapeand murder of the seven-year-old girl included those who departed from herresidence and passed by it.

During the period, five mobile numbers were used whereas three calls weremade from a suspected number. It has also been learnt that a suspectedmessage was received at a number at 7:15.

Punjab Chief Minister’s advisor Dr Umer Saif published the reportpertaining to the developments made in the case.

The DNA test points towards a serial killer as the recent incident has muchsimilarity with previous mishaps.

Talking in programme Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath, Punjab Law Minister RanaSanaullah said that they doubt the presence of serial killer in this caseas happened in the previous incidents. Rana Sanaullah told that they havecollected the DNA of the culprit which indicated that the man is of the agegroup 30-35.

Zainab’s medical report confirmed ample evidence of assault and rape on thelittle girl’s body. She had torture marks on nose, neck, and other parts ofthe body as the rapist slit her wrists and choked her to death.

Punjab government has claimed that they have found an important link tocatch the culprit.
