ISLAMABAD – A woman fruit vendor in Pakistan got a surprise customer – itwas none other than the UAE ambassador to Pakistan.
Earlier, Jalal Sherazi, speaker of the House at Provincial Youth Assembly,detailed the fruit vendor’s plight of selling fruits because her husbandhad passed away. The tweet read: “She is Yasmeen, she has three daughtersand a son studying in class 2 and her husband died. As she has no otheroption, she is struggling to feed her kids.”

Since his tweet came out, many Twitter users expressed their interest inhelping Yasmeen and her children out.
The tweet was noticed by the UAE Embassy in Islamabad.
And the UAE ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Alzaabi, decided to pay a visitto the fruit vendor and even took some photos with her at her stall. In atweet by the embassy’s official Twitter handle, Alzaabi said that Yasmeenis a “great example of Pakistani women”.
