In a recent development,a prominent figure and close associate of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud, met his demise in a landmine explosion in Afghanistan's Paktika province. This incident, marks a significant event in the ongoing battle against terrorism. Badshah Khan had been a top-priority target, featured on the "most-wanted list," and was known for his involvement in carrying out terrorist operations against Pakistani security forces.

This unfortunate incident comes on the heels of another successful operation carried out by security forces in June 2023, where the highly sought-after terrorist Zafar Khan, also known as Zafari, and two of his associates were eliminated in Darra Adam Khel, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

The operation, based on precise intelligence, demonstrated the commitment of intelligence agencies and security forces to eradicate terrorist threats.

Zafar Khan, hailing from Malan village in Darra Adam Khel, had recently crossed over from Nangarhar province in Afghanistan to Peshawar in May 2023. He had a history of involvement with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan (TTA) and was responsible for orchestrating 26 grenade attacks within Pakistan.
