MQM Chief Farooq Sattar injured in road accident

KARACHI (APP): Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan chief Dr Farooq Sattar and his three guards were injured on Sunday night in a road accident on Super Highway near Nooriabad.

According to MQM Pakistan leader Khawaja Izhar ul Hasan the accident took place on Super Highway near Nooriabad when he was returing from Hyderabad to Karachi.

He said that Dr Farooq Sattar's vehicle while taking a turn hit a barrier along the road and over-turned. However, he added that Dr Farooq Sattar miraculously remained safe and did not recieve any visible serious injury.

Dr Farooq Sattar was shifted to a private hospital in Karachi. While his guards who were seriously injured in the accident were shifted to Abassi Shaheed Hospital.
