The International Cricket Council (ICC) One Day World Cup has been affected by the rapid spread of dengue fever, and Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle has also fallen victim to dengue.

Harsha Bhogle shared the unfortunate news of contracting dengue through a tweet on his social media account on the website X, saying, "I won't be able to participate in the India-Pakistan match scheduled for October 14. I have fallen victim to dengue, and due to reduced immunity and weakness, it is impossible for me to participate in the match."

Regarding his health, Bhogle stated, "I hope to recover before the World Cup match between India and Bangladesh scheduled for October 19."

He further added, "My colleagues and the broadcasting team provided excellent support during this time, as they handled the extra workload during the Australia-India match."
