ISLAMABAD - Three Indian Army soldiers were either killed or injured in Pakistan Army retaliation to 18 civilians injuries in Azad Kashmir in the day by Indian Army fire.
Indian Army one soldier was killed and two seriously injured when Pakistani troops retaliated to firing and shelling along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on October 11.
“Today, the ceasefire violation took place in Nowshera sector from 5.50 am to 7.30 am,” he said.
During the retaliatory firing by the Pakistan troops, one injured jawan, identified as Naik Subash Thapa, 25, was evacuated to the Military Command Hospital Udhampur, but later succumbed to injuries, the spokesperson said, The Hindu has reported.
Two jawans were also injured in the Pakistani retaliatory fire in Akhnoor sector of Jammu district, officials said.
