First ever Botanical Garden spanning over 725 acres of land was inaugurated in Islamabad today.
Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan inaugurated the Garden.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the Garden will prove to be a milestone in preservation of biodiversity and natural environment of the federal capital.
He said this is the first botanical garden of its kind which stretches over fifteen kilometers adding that one hundred million rupees are being spent for construction of its boundary wall which will be completed in two years.
