ISLAMABAD – Former President Asif Ali Zardari lands into yet another trouble from the National Accountability Bureau.
The accountability court summoned PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari in the Thatta Water Supply reference on March 4.
The court has already sought a reply from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Abdul Ghani’s plea for acquittal under the NAB Amended Ordinance.
On February 11, the accountability court had adjourned the indictment of PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari and other accused in the mega money laundering and Park Lane reference till March 3.
The court accepted Asif Zardari’s plea for exemption from appearance in court. Anwar Majeed could not be transferred from Karachi to Islamabad.
