Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Monday declared the new affidavitmandatory along with the nomination papers to be submitted for all thecandidates.
In the new affidavit, all the details of the dependents are to be givenalong with the details of assets and properties owned by the dependents.
The details of the performance as members of assemblies were also demandedin the affidavit.
It also demanded that the candidate should not have dual citizenship. Thecandidates will also have to provide the details of the funds donated andreceived to and from the associated party in the affidavit.
