LAHORE – Accountability court on Wednesday has extended transit remand ofOpposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif in AshianaHousing scam.
According to details, the decision was taken on the request of Kot LakhpatJail s superintendent who asked the court to extend the remand of ex-Punjabchief minister until the conclusion of assembly session.
On December 6, accountability court had sent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) president to Kot Lakhpat jail on judicial remand after his previousphysical remand ended.
