HARIPUR – A police constable who was on duty at residence of DeputyCommissioner shot himself dead on Wednesday.
The ill-fated cop, Sohail was rushed to District Headquarters HospitalHaripur afterwards he was referred to Ayub Medical Complex Abottabad. Hesuccumbed to injuries in the hospital later.
Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Headquarters told APP that DistrictPolice Officer (DPO) Dr. Zahid Ullah has formed a committee underAdditional Superintendent Police, Zulfiqar Jadoon to probe the suicideincident.
