China seek Pakistan’s crucial support over Afghanistan peace talks

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has an important and unique role in Afghan peaceprocess and China looked forward to working closely with Pakistan.

This was stated by China’s Special Envoy on Afghan Affairs, Ambassador DengXijun while talking to Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood in Islamabad today.

The Chinese envoy said close cooperation between China and Pakistan isessential to move Afghan peace process forward.
