NAB Chief issues stern warning to officers

ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Javed Iqbal hasissued strict instructions to NAB officers.

He on Monday barred officials from giving interviews to news channels, readthe press release.

The press release further reads that only NAB chairman or bureau’sspokesperson will share details [on case concerned] with the media andpublic.

The press release reaffirmed the vow that all mega-corruption cases wouldbe taken to their logical end.

NAB chairman has also sought record of media interviews by NABDirector-General Lahore Maj (retd) Shahzad Saleem from the Pakistan MediaRegulatory Authority (PEMRA).
