Pakistan takes a strong stance in favour of Palestine against Israel

In Islamabad, the federal cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Anwaarul HaqKakar, expressed strong condemnation for the Israeli airstrikes on the GazaStrip.

They called for an immediate end to the air raids and the removal of theblockade to facilitate the delivery of essential relief supplies to theGaza civilians.

Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi, in a post-meeting pressconference, mentioned that the ministers also gave their approval to aproposal for hiring the Consortium for Financial Advisory to oversee theprivatization of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

The federal cabinet emphasized the need for an immediate halt to theIsraeli bombardment in Gaza, along with the demand to lift the blockade,ensuring the delivery of essential relief supplies to the people in Gaza.

They strongly condemned Israel’s airstrikes, particularly when targetingcivilians in Gaza, and expressed concerns over the ongoing volatilesituation arising from Israel’s long-standing illegal occupation andoppression of Palestinians, as well as its violations of Security Councilresolutions.

“The forum strongly condemned Israel’s bombardment, particularly targetingcivilians in Gaza besides expressing concern over the volatile situationstemming from Israel’s illegal occupation, oppression of Palestinians fordecades and blatant violations of the Security Council resolutions,”Solangi said.
