PM Imran Khan held important meeting with religious leadership of different communities

confidence that religious scholars will continue to play their pivotal rolefor promotion of Islamic values, meet the contemporary challenges and checksectarianism in the country.

He was talking to prominent religious personalities from Khyber Pakhtunkhwain Islamabad today (Monday).

The Prime Minister stressed that it is important to project the social,cultural and religious values of society to meet the contemporarychallenges. In this regard, the religious scholars have an important role.

He noted that the religious scholars have always fulfilled theresponsibility of guiding the nation and the government in difficult times.

The Prime Minister was confident that the religious personalities willcontinue to support government’s efforts against COVID-19 and provideguidance to the people to stay safe from the pandemic.

Delegation of National Commission for Minorities calls on PM in Islamabad

Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for collective efforts to foil thesordid designs of anti-state elements bent upon instigating chaos in thecountry under the garb of religion.

He was talking to a delegation of National Commission for Minorities headedby its Chairman Chela Ram Kewlani in Islamabad today (Monday).

Imran Khan said interfaith harmony is need of the hour. He hoped that theNational Commission for Minorities would play its role in this regard.

The Prime Minister said the government is committed to protect theconstitutional and legal rights of the minorities’ community.
