Neglected Fawad Alam likely to be given yet another chance in national squad?

ISLAMABAD – Neglected Fawad Alam likely to be given yet another chance inthe upcoming series against Australia.

Fawad Alam might finally get another chance to prove his worth in theupcoming series against Australia.

According to reports, the recently appointed Misbah-ul-Haq has inquiredabout Alam’s fitness and form from Sindh’s team head coach Azam Khan.

The reports further suggest that Misbah is keen on giving at least onechance to every former player to revive themselves, just like how he hasalready done with Iftikhar Ahmed, Ahmed Shehzad, and Umar Akmal.

The management is yet to make a decision regarding this matter hencenothing is certain.

Alam, who is representing Sindh in the on-going Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, hasscored 160 runs in the four matches he has featured in at an average of 40and with a century to his name.

Fawad played his last international match in 2015 and since then, he hasbeen constantly neglected for unknown reasons.
