LONDON – British Kashmiris living in Burton will march an anti-Indiademonstration to London on 27th of this month to be marked as Black Day bythe Kashmiris.
On 27th October, 1947, India had landed its troops in Srinagar andillegally occupied the territory of Jammu and Kashmir against the will ofthe Kashmiri people and Partition Plan. Since then Kashmiris on both sidesof the world and across the world have been observing 27th October as blackday.
The protest is aimed at raising awareness about the Kashmir dispute andhighlighting the issues surrounding the occupied territory.
