ISLAMABAD – A technical system glitch in the PIA new software system againputs passengers in trouble across all airports in Pakistan.
SITA system outage affected international flights at all airports acrossthe country on Thursday as the process of issuing boarding pass was stoppeddue to fault in the system.
According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson, all foreignairlines use SITA system for issuing boarding passes to passengers.
Sources said that technical fault in boarding pass processing and issuingsystem has affected international flights at airports of Pakistan includingIslamabad, Karachi and Lahore.
Boarding passes were issued manually to long queues of internationalflights passengers after the fault in the system.
