Another diplomatic achievement for Pakistan at the SCO forum

ISLAMABAD: The department of Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) will hostthe fifth high-level meeting of the heads of Supreme Audit Institutions(SAIs) of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries here inIslamabad.

Officials said that this will be the first SCO meeting that Pakistan willhost after attaining membership of the regional organization in 2017.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has granted principal approval for hosting themeeting by the AGP.

In consultation through subsequent engagements with the NationalCoordinator (NC) Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) at Ministry ofForeign Affairs (MoFA), it has been decided that the AGP office will hostthe SCO meeting in the first half of 2021.
